Day 28 - BEING INTIMATE

 

Activity for Day 28 (tomorrow): 

 

Focus on what you are doing in the HERE and NOW, 

Take note using your SENSES, and 

BE CURIOUS of...

 

INTIMATE MOMENTS - Sharing close, warm and private moments with another person stimulates the release of oxytocin (the love drug) in our body. These moments might range from disclosing a secret to and trusting that person to kissing and having sex. So make sure today you open up and allow yourself to be vulnerable or "naked" so you feel the rush of oxytocin.

Day 27 - WHAT'S FOR or IN DINNER?

 

Activity for Day 27 (tomorrow): 

 

Focus on what you are doing in the HERE and NOW, 

Take note using your SENSES, and 

BE CURIOUS of...

 

WHAT'S FOR or IN DINNER - Use your sense of smell and try to guess what's for dinner tonight before seeing or tasting it, and once you are enjoying it, acknowledge all the ingredients that went into it.  And if you were lucky enough to be the cook tonight, let your sense of smell and taste guide the combination process and admire the pageantry of colours, sounds and textures.

Day 26 - SOMEONE SPECIAL

SOMEONE SPECIAL - We might be around them everyday, which means our brain gets desensitised to their sensory information (sight, sound, smell, touch), so today stop and pay attention to what someone special in your life (partner, parent, friend, child) is wearing, saying, or doing.

Day 25 - SMELLS AROUND YOUR HOUSE

SMELLS AROUND YOUR HOUSE - Some are delightful and some are just plain nasty, so focus on the many different smells that are produced around your house today.

Day 24 - TOUCHING SOMETHING SMOOTH

TOUCHING SOMETHING SMOOTH - As infants, our curiousity of the world is satisfied by reaching out and touching things. So use this sense today to determine and enjoy the texture and sensation of something smooth (e.g. a dog's ear).
